My dad and Rita just returned from a 14 day Alaskan Cruise. Rita will probably make a few more trips down to Houston to see her first grandchild, Josey. We hope to be seeing them soon as they come and visit grandchild #2, Aidan, whenever he decides to enter into this world.
Even though it’s the summer, mom and Dwaine are keeping busy as Dwaine just became the music director at their church. They will continue teaching in the fall at their schools with Dwaine as a band director and mom as a 3rd grade teacher.
They are also very excited about the birth of their first grandchild. We’ll be seeing mom quite a bit as she’ll be staying at our home a couple of weeks after Aidan’s arrival.
Nana is anxiously awaiting the completion of her little house behind mom and Dwaine’s. Last year, she sold her home in Tyler of 50+ years and moved closer to mom in Carthage.
