Aidan’s already had a rough day; earlier this morning, he had a 101 degree fever and went to see his pediatrician for the second week in a row.  The doctor was not concerned because his fever had calmed down, there were no signs of a secondary infection. So, he was sent home.  He was great all day long; back to his normal self.

The night did not end so well.  We accidentally fed Aidan some veggies tonight from some leftover lettuce wraps. Steph had forgotten that we’d mixed all the leftovers together - including the peanut sauce!  (We didn’t put this together until much later…) This caused him to have an allergic reaction and break out in hives. They started instantly around his mouth after he finished his dinner and spread to his entire body! He threw up after getting a bath, so he got another bath. It was all over the towel, his pajamas, and the carpet. Yuck. Then he threw up again, so he got another bath and more pajamas. Then he threw up in his bed. Bath #3 and pajama set #3 and new sheets. Lots of laundry to do…

We called the after hours nurse, and she told us what to do and what to watch for. This was pretty scary stuff! Please pray for him!  It’s never fun and so painful to watch your little boy be so miserable.
